If you are watching your intake of milk calories but still would like to enjoy some beverages and food with milk, you could prepare a smoothie using the 1% milk or the non fat milk. You could also use these kinds of milk as creamer to your coffee and in cooking or preparing creamy mashed potatoes.
You can have a glass of milk without the fear of getting fat. All you have to do is to be conscious of the milk calories content of the milk you are drinking. Some milk contains lesser calories but have a different or blunt taste. So it is up to you to choose, whether to choose a milk that tastes good but contains more calories that will make you fat or milk that has fewer calories but does not taste as good but will keep you healthy and fit.
